Welcome to my portfolio!
I'm Anna. I am a highly experienced senior editor and a passionate bibliophile with a strong editorial eye. I've edited more than 75 books in my career, ranging from behind the scenes to art and making of, crafting books, cookbooks, gift and novelty books, illustrated storybooks, advent calendars, tarot decks and guidebooks, knitting books, crochet books, pop-up books, fashion books, and more.
I love reading and editing books, and I'm an excellent team player and leader. I liaise with many different teams and departments internally (from acquisitions to design, marketing, sales, and production), and I cultivate, manage, and maintain many different author, agent, licensor, and talent relationships. I wear many hats, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. I know when to take the lead, but I also know when to sit back and let others lead. I am an excellent communicator and am able to work quickly and efficiently to solve problems.
I'm a diligent and dedicated worker and I put forth only my best work, but I believe there is always room for learning and growth. I want to evolve with a company and develop myself along the way, bringing new ideas to the table and working collaboratively with my peers. I'm competent and never complacent; I always strive for improvement.
I'm currently a student at Pace University studying for an MS in Publishing and I'm also finishing up my Copyediting and Proofreading Certification through NYU.
Give me the opportunity to prove myself. You will not be disappointed.
