Lead Editor:
As lead editor, I perform the following:
—Work with top film directors, talent, and executives at well-known entertaining companies, including Disney, Pixar, WB, Paramount, Sony, Hasbro, Mojang, Wizards of the Coast, Funko, NBCUniversal, and HBO;
—Brainstorm, refine, and pitch new project proposals to licensors;
—Research and hire knowledgeable authors to authentically execute manuscripts;
—Manage author/contributor relationships;
—Negotiate with agents and review contract terms;
—Editorially shape projects through working with authors on concepts, outlines, and revisions, including detailed in-line edits;
—Draft the sales marketing copy;
—Contribute to the layouts and designs
—Submit materials to relevant licensor approval systems
—Keep up-to-date on current pop culture trends and media with tie-in potential
